Find Your God: A Pilgrim's Guide to the Cosmos

“Finding Your God”, by Jack Rauhala is one old northerner’s trip into a mystical land of legend, lore, and spirituality. Reading it is like overhearing Mark Twain and Buddha discourse on creation, consciousness, the human soul, and sex. Here, Pappa Jack relates how a lifetime of experiences were converted into the wisdom of the ancient sages.
Through spiritual times of fire and snow, through visions and visitations, he traverses his soul to a place where he finally discovers his own God...and encourages you to do the same.

Jack Rauhala is a great writer. This seems inherent in the sound of his name: rugged as the peaks and crags of the mountains yet harmonious like the wind-sounds blowing through this primitive terrain. His name, Rauhala , means “place of peace.” He has found it.
Jack’s book describes a life expressive of the full spectrum of experience from an intense and intimate relationship within the rural physical environment followed by great adventures of feeling and thought within deep emotional and mental states of love/consciousness.
This book honours both aspects of the spectrum of our lives. Both the deep, rich, physical, emotional and mental experience and a life of thought, organization and the astute interpretation of all these experiences. He has arrived at the mystical/occult marriage between these two aspects.
Jack has found his true self—and that true self is US.

In “Find Your God”, Jack Rauhala takes us on his exciting lifetime journey as he explores consciousness, enlightenment and the nature of life. Jack Rauhala shares deep insights, especially those learned through encounters with raccoons, hawks, moose and others that show our consciousness and heart connection with all is universal.
He enhances his account with a wide knowledge of current work ranging from neurophysiology, cognitive science, quantum physics, metaphysics, philosophy and religion. Seen through his down to earth approach, his quest for meaning is an excellent, accessible model and inspiration for our own personal quests.
After reading “Find Your God” you will know that there is more to our consciousness and us than the mere firing of neurons. Jack Rauhala shows through his example that we are part of and connected with everything.

Jack Rauhala’s book Find Your God is quite a tour de force!
It is a dense piece of work, full of wonderful insights and references from his obvious extensive readings and studies. There are terrific quotes not easily found elsewhere.
The book is a nice combination of folksy personal anecdotes, visionary experiences [which are among my favorites], and important ideas and questions about everything from quantum physics to gender identity.
Although quantum physics is not my forte, I know these parts will be of special interest to many readers. There is certainly enough in Find Your God to satisfy almost everyone, ranging from his emotion laden totemistic “biophilia” connections, to political commentary. It is filled with astute observations and interesting speculations. And of course, all is tied together with the glue of blissful, mystical, Kundalini experiences.
In short, the book is a frequently eloquent history of a fascinating spiritual journey.
Obviously I am delighted to recommend Find Your God. It will be of great interest to all Kundalini awakened and to everyone interested in personal spiritual evolution.
